This course is designed to cover all the legal requirements for the safe use and mounting of abrasive wheels. This course looks at wheel selection, markings, wheel types and wheel storage. This course includes practical demonstrations on procedures to follow when mounting abrasive wheels

• The hazards arising from the use of abrasive wheels
• Identify the methods of marking abrasive wheels as to type and speed
• List the methods of storage, handling, and transportation of abrasive wheels
• Show the methods for testing and inspecting wheels for damage
• Demonstrate the correct method of mounting an abrasive wheel
• Show the method of dressing a wheel
• To adjust the rest correctly
• The requirements of the regulations
• Risks associated with Power Tools

Practical training session, from which all delegates will be assessed.

Course Duration: ½ Day

Certification: On successfully completing the course participants will be issued to the participant which is valid for 3 years.
